Community

Having strong and successful schools is crucial for every community. Closer working between schools and the community are critical to reduce youth unemployment, improve school standards and to equip young people for the world of work. In a recent report, OFSTED the school inspectorate warned that schools were putting the “nation’s future economic prosperity” at risk because of a failure to sufficiently prioritise enterprise education. By working together we can raise students aspirations, improve learning and create a better community.

Your Support

There are many ways that the community can support their local schools and we hope that you will spare a little of your time to consider what you can contribute. Although donations are always welcome, it is your knowledge, your experience and your time which will be of the greatest benefit to help our students appreciate the opportunities that are available to them. We hope that as a consequence of this, students will be inspired to focus on what they need to do to achieve their ambitions.

Recognition

The school appreciates every contribution made by members of the community to improve the life chances of our students. If you are able to make a contribution to the school we will acknowledge this by including you (or your business) on the school ‘Community Heroes’ web page. Here, you will be able to add your details including a link to your website if you have one. On our pledge page below, you will be able to add the appropriate information (which of course, is optional). Thank you.

Playground Funding Project
Intended Donation
£
The school and parents are currently working on exciting plans to improve the play areas and facilities around school. The PTFA have agreed to make the playground the focus for their fundraising events during the coming year. The main focus for improvements is the Junior Playground, Infant Playground, Pond Area and Foundation Garden. We are launching a community funding campaign to help us achieve these improvements. The school needs funding to support the resources and materials required. As well as the funding campaign, we are looking for any skills or materials that could be donated to help us achieve these projects. All donations to the project are greatly appreciated.
